AVA ARMAND

Ava is an associate at Savard Foy LLP. Her practice focuses on criminal trials and appeals. She approaches each case with empathy and ensures her clients understand each step of the process. She advocates for her clients tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome for them. 

Ava obtained her law degree from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. There, she worked and volunteered with organizations with a public interest focus: Downtown Legal Services, Innocence Canada, the International Human Rights Program, and the Refugee Sponsorship Support Program. She also participated in competitive mooting, where she placed as a top oralist in both the Canadian and international competitions of the Jessup International Moot. Ava completed her undergraduate degree in Economics at McGill University. 

Before joining Savard Foy LLP, Ava articled at one of Canada’s leading criminal defence firms. There, she worked on high-profile criminal, regulatory, and civil matters. 

Ava is a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association and the Advocates’ Society. She provides legal services in English and Farsi.
